Sunstone Winery Wedding Inspiration
In mid-August, I had the pleasure of photographing an editorial wedding shoot planned by Susan Dunne. Despite it being a crazy hot 100-degree day in the Santa Ynez Valley, everything came together so perfectly. On top of all the beautiful details, Susan made sure this was a SAFE shoot with fantastic covid-compliance by all vendors, which I really appreciated!
The couple, Luke and Miya, were all too natural in front of the camera, and their posing required little direction since they’re naturally so cute and smitten with each other in the first place. Couples like this make my job so enjoyable, because creating those candid moments is just and always happens to be my couples’ favorite photos!
Sunstone Villa is a beautiful Tuscan-inspired wedding venue tucked behind Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, CA. Wineries/vineyards are some of my absolute favorite venues, and this one surely didn’t let me down! With the ability to rent out the suites in the villa, this is the perfect place to host your entire wedding weekend, from rehearsal dinner, to wedding morning getting ready prep, to the ceremony, all the way through to the reception. With “microweddings” and elopements on the rise, Sunstone Winery is definitely a top venue contender!
