Summer Wedding at a Spanish Revival Estate - Quail Ranch, Simi Valley | Laura + Nick

At the time Laura + Nick booked me to photograph their wedding, they were living out in D.C., so we had to do their engagement shoot at a time they were back in the LA area… an entire year and a half before the wedding! Seeing them again on their wedding day almost felt like old friends seeing each other after a long period apart. I had been looking forward to this wedding for such a long time!

We had absolutely gorgeous weather for this wedding, despite being fairly toasty. But as you’ll see, the sunlight was gorgeous all day long!! The couple’s friends and family were also such a joy to be around, and the dancefloor was constantly full (including some loved ones who are professional dancers, which made it fun to watch!).

It was such a treat getting to photograph Laura + Nick at this special moment in their lives. I can’t wait to see what’s next for them!
