Dusk Engagement Session at Griffith Observatory | Li + Angela

When starting to plan their engagement session, Li + Angela asked me if I’ve ever done nighttime shots before. While I hadn’t much apart from at wedding receptions, we decided to give it a go! They really liked the idea of having photos that are a little different from the masses, and I did too.

Despite breaking a flash thanks to wind (but at least I got to upgrade to a better model when replacing said flash), I had a blast exploring Griffith Observatory with these two. I live fairly close and have been here many times, but it was a first for them! We had an absolutely gorgeous day for it, and it wasn’t very busy since we went on a week day.

I cannot wait for their wedding this October at South Park Center in DTLA! A fun easter egg is that you can actually see the building for their wedding venue in all the cityscape shots from this session :)
