Riverside Surprise Proposal

Daniel reached out to me a few months ago saying he and his girlfriend, Katie, wanted to get some grad photos taken, as he never got any when he graduated from UCR a couple years ago, and she really wanted some after just having graduated after a difficult nursing program. They’ve been together for a few years and had never had photos taken together, so they used the opportunity to have a couple’s shoot! But here’s the catch…. Daniel wanted to propose to Katie during the shoot! Cue my excitement!!

It took a ton of planning on coordinating, and even coming up with a signal between me and Daniel that he was ready to pop the question, and we successfully pulled it off. Katie was SO surprised because she wasn’t expecting to get engaged until later this summer!

We took the grad photos at UCR which was where their story began when they met in Korean class on campus. Afterwards, we headed over to Sycamore Highland Park in Riverside for the “couple’s shoot”, during which they got ENGAGED! We finished the session off as an engagement session, which was such a blast.

I can’t wait for these two to be getting married! Congratulations, Daniel and Katie!
